Wait time to sit minimal, normally always start out giving reviews of the food. However, the atmosphere in the ambience of the papermill is far above most that you come across as a mom and pop restaurant.10 out of 10. Omelette is fluffy serve warmly with butter and your choice of jam with toast or a biscuit 9 out of 10. I found my waitress to be very kind warm and pleasant to have as a waitress and enjoy your job. 9 out of 10. Highly recommend this restaurant the management team seems to be engaged with all aspects of the business yet without an overbearing presence.

I went here a few days ago for a late breakfast. I had the grits bowl which has grits, smoked gouda cheese, spinach and a special made tomato sauce on top. This tasted great. I loved the idea of having fresh uncooked spinach added to the dish which was different from my previous visit. The restaurant is roomy with good spacing but I didn't like the booth. The booths are joined back to back with no separation; meaning we could hear the conversation of the family at the adjacent booth as if they were at our booth. Service was okay nothing stood out about the service either way.

Fantastic food! And what a welcome. A southern welcome! It's hard to get creative with a breakfast menu without adding a lot of fat and sugar, but wow. The Paper Mill is just the ticket for creative, fun breakfast food that is still somewhat healthy. I always opt for the gravy though. You just can't resist it here. I'm SO glad this wonderful restaurant is right here in our neighborhood. LOVE it!

Perfect spot from brunch! The staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome from the moment you walk in! My husband and I came for the gluten free options and were blown away by the variety! I highly recommend this place.

Came in on a Thursday at like 11. Greeted and seated promptly. Everyone was swooning over my new baby lol Ordered the breakfast tacos, the biscuit sampler, and kids French toast. The cinnamon butter is delish and I couldn't decide which jam I liked best. I wish the biscuits were a little softer, BUT we will def be back to try more things that sound yummy on the menu!

Seated quickly on a Wednesday morning. Very friendly. Ordered the strawberry French toast and a side of bacon. Served quickly. Bacon is extra crispy, just the way I like it. The French toast was excellent. Very clean. Hot coffee. I'd come back.

Even with its casual vibe and setting in an unassuming strip mall, The Paper Mill deserves 4 stars for finally bringing some local creativity to Mt. Juliet. Beset with a plethora of chains, MtJ's sparse local offerings usually lean toward pub grub. But Paper Mill's tasty dishes make it a local favorite for all diners. Burgers, chicken tenders and sandwiches as well as salads, traditional breakfast fare and lots of sides usually means there is something for everyone. (Their kids portions are very generous.) After experimenting with various menu options and open/close times, they seem to have settled on one all-day brunch menu and a 2pm close. Which is a bummer - we'd love to have them as a dinner place too. The staff is chill, friendly and attentive. One unfortunate change with the new menu was removing the Beyond/Impossible burger option, and not adding any kind of veggie patty either, leaving vegans and vegetarians without a burger choice. With many egg and dairy options, this place is great for vegetarians. Not so much for vegans - although on one visit they kindly subbed avocado in for cheese and didn't up-charge.

They have unique blends of ingredients I have never seen anywhere else and I love that. Our party of 5 were all pleased with their food and 3 had leftovers. The Gouda grits are delicious, rosemary gravy was so good. The chicken and waffles has a black pepper syrup that was interesting and quite good. The option to use egg whites was there and I took it; i so appreciate healthy options. The sweet potatoe hash was yummy and basically tossed with onions and peppers. The staff was hard working; they had pep in their steps.
